Yellow poppies, oh so bright,
They burst forth with such delight,
Their petals delicate and fair,
Dancing in the spring air.
Quick bloom,
resilient through the gloom,
For even as they vanish fast,
Their seeds are scattered,
meant to last.
Spontaneous they sway,
In fields of gold, where they play,
Their beauty undeniable,
Their color vibrant.
Bright and true,
Vanishing quickly, but renewing too.
